Is there a "Best Time" to consume your Matcha?
Typically, due to its caffeine content, our customers prefer to indulge in a cup late morning, once their bodies have had time to prepare for the new day. For most, this is after 9am…following the traditional coffee routine.
However, the best time to consume our AAA Ceremonial Matcha, is from 12 noon to 1pm, when cortisol levels have risen due to work and life related stress. Scientific studies have shown, that caffeine beverages consumed between 12 noon and 1pm are ideal, as well as between 5:30pm and 6pm in the evening (just in time to set up your evening meditation sesh – Jimmy).
Of course, the Jimmy Galaxy AAA Ceremonial Matcha Powder, provides a whole host of other health benefits as well…like improved heart health, greater neural cognition, liver protection and anti-oxidation to name a few.
WITHOUT A BAMBOO WHISK: Add one gram (1gm = 1tsp) of the pure ceremonial matcha powder to your favorite ceramic cup, heat 2.5ozs of water to 175° (just before the rolling boil of water @ 212°), pour heated water slowly in your cup while stirring in a figure-8 pattern....allowing the matcha powder to dissolve evenly before indulging.
WITH BAMBOO WHISK: Repeat the above protocol as described for water and matcha powder prep, but make sure to pre-soak your bamboo whisk in a separate vessel containing warm water. This soaking prepares the whisk for proper blending.
After a couple minutes soaking the whisk in warm water, add your matcha powder to a separate mug, pour your heated water into the cup slowly while briskly agitating the mixture in a figure-8 loop until frothy.
Now just set back and indulge in the escape!
